Almond does this by giving examples of his past experience, providing evidence on not only his condition but all types of AMJ, and connecting with the reader through emotional commentary.  II.  Ethos      a. “In my three-plus years of marriage.”       b. “She tossed out my favorite pair of sneakers”        c. His AMJ condition tested his marriage and other relationships at times.  III.  Pathos      a. He provides direct examples and quotation to tie into the emotional state he was in.       b.
