Any quoted material does not count as part of the overall word count. Assignment: This assignment asks for you to argue for the two main causes of a particular effect. Here are the potential topics. You must choose one from this list. Three of the topics are personal if you would rather write the essay from that perspective: The causes for a particular musician or entertainer’s rise to power and prominence (Billie Eilish, Travis Scott, the Kardashians, etc.) The causes for a particular musician or entertainer’s loss of popularity or fall from grace (Johnny Depp, Vanilla Ice, M.C.
