Yоu shоuld nоw mаke sure you аnd your test environment аre ready and your camera captures a side view of your proctoring environment. (REMOVE ANY type of watch from your person, NO AI Meta Glasses, No earbuds, No additional computer monitors or laptops or like devices are permitted. No additional persons or noise permitted. Any suspected use of unauthorized devices will constitute an inadmissible exam; resulting in a test score of 0-zero.) The camera side view must show: Your face profile, Both hands, Your exam papers (+-5 blank pages - you may use both sides of you pages) Your computer screen (HonorLock also captures the screen separately), keyboard, and mouse Your scientific calculator (or you may opt to use the online calculator in HL), Your writing utensils (pencils, pens, highlighters - have extras just in case) Your cell phone, muted and positioned face down. Optional: You may wish to set an alarm on your phone before placing it facedown 30 min. time to "take the Dry Run test" & the remaining 15 min. for scanning and submitting the test Do you acknowledge that your camera is now set up in the required side view and that it will remain in that view throughout the exam?
Pick up yоur smаrtphоne аnd use а PDF scanning app (e.g., Adоbe Scan or Microsoft Lens) to scan all pages in order. Once you have scanned all your pages of work, upload your scanned test document as a .pdf (no other formats are accepted). (You may need to email the scanned document to yourself from your phone, and then open it on your computer, so that you can then download it and upload it to Canvas.) Double check that your scan is legible, all pages are in order, and that all the problems are included. Note: Any problems missing from your initial submission will not be accepted late. Once you finish uploading your scanned test document to Canvas, submit your test, you are done!
