Which оf the fоllоwing in the BEST description of proper hаndling of soiled linen thаt hаs been contaminated by bodily fluids?

Reаd the fоllоwing cаse study аnd write a narrative analysis accоrding to the three sections below. Observe: focus on the nuanced verbal and nonverbal signals to identify the primary cultural dimensions at play in this situation (at least two, with explanations for your choices – from the synthesis of cultural taxonomies). Next – drawing from your chosen cultural dimensions, Hall’s taxonomy, the concept of ‘face,’ and Erin Meyer’s ‘trusting’ and ‘disagreeing’ scales (from chs 6-7 in The Culture Map)… Interpret: generate several interpretations to make sense of the behaviors and feelings that you observe in this scenario and provide possible explanations for the escalating intercultural conflict. Mindfully reframe: explain how you might help Estelle negotiate the conflict using culture-sensitive communication skills to manage the process and outcome of the conflict adaptively and productively (assuming a win-win approach). Case study When Estelle first came to China to be an English teacher, she had no idea what the term “collectivism” really meant. She couldn’t even tell that it existed. Besides the bargaining, things in China seemed to work relatively the same way as things did in North America. She didn’t quite understand what all the talk of the importance of relationships was until she met her first Chinese friend, Ji Yubing. It was then that the collectivistic idea of living became a surprising reality to her. After only a couple months of knowing Yubing, it seemed as though Yubing was very comfortable with Estelle. She often came to Estelle’s apartment unannounced and always entered without knocking or as she was knocking. Estelle sometimes found herself locking the door just so that Yubing might get the hint that her actions were a little rude. It never seemed to work though. Yubing also had a habit of demanding things. For example, “I want to use your washing machine” or “Give me those chopsticks.” After a while, Estelle started feeling that Yubing was acting like a spoiled child always demanding something from her parents. She couldn’t stand constantly being told what to do. Estelle understood that there were cultural differences between herself and Yubing, but it seemed as though every time Yubing came over, Estelle couldn’t help but let her frustrations keep building on top of one another. One day, Yubing walked into the apartment, as she usually did, but this time looking very tired. Before Estelle could even greet her, Yubing immediately told her that she wanted to sleep on her bed until her next class. Estelle tole her, “Sure,” but on the inside she couldn’t believe what had just happened. Her emotions were all over the place. At that point, Estelle couldn’t even imagine opening the door to her teammates’ apartments without knocking, let alone telling them she wanted to sleep in their bed for a little while. Plus, Estelle had a lot of work she had to get done and was actually thinking about taking a nap herself before she got started, but now that was not an option. Her apartment was too small, and she had only one bed. Estelle noticed Yubing going into the kitchen. She grabbed a glass and helped herself to some water before she went to lie down. Estelle rolled her eyes, thinking how she never had to remind Yubing to make herself at home. She tried to brush it all off and actually did end up getting a little bit of work done while Yubing was sleeping; however, when Yubing woke up, she almost pushed Estelle to the limit. She walked right into the bathroom on her, again without knocking, and then just started using her hairbrush, without asking. After Yubing left, Estelle just collapsed on her bed, almost in tears. She was so confused, because she had been overseas several times before and had always developed great bonds with the people she came to know. Based on these experiences, Estelle always thought that she could adapt to new situations well, that she was flexible, and that nothing in the cultural realm could ever bring her negative feelings, because that is what she loved, culture. Yubing was one of Estelle’s closest friends, but Estelle had come to a point where she couldn’t stand being around Yubing. Estelle felt guilty for her thoughts and her lack of ability to adjust to Yubing, but she just didn’t know what to do. How could she ever tell Yubing what she was feeling? She knew that this would crush Yubing. Even worse, she didn’t know how to do this in the appropriate way or even if there was an appropriate way. Nevertheless, she knew that something definitely had to be done; otherwise her closest local friend might become the person she most wanted to avoid.
