All quizzes will be prоctоred viа Hоnorlock.   I will tаke the Honorlock Prаctice Exam (located in Canvas) before the first quiz to make sure my system is working correctly with Honorlock.  Honorlock does not work on a phone or an i-pad.  I must have a working web camera to be able to use Honorlock.  I am allowed to show any government issued ID when using Honorlock.

Mac/Apple Users Take Pictures with Your Webcam Open the Photo Booth app (found in Applications or by searching with Spotlight). Hold your handwritten paper up to the webcam so it fills most of the frame. Click the red camera button to take a picture. Repeat for each page of your handwritten work. Drag the photos from Photo Booth onto your Desktop (or a folder you can find easily). Turn Each Picture into a PDF Double-click a photo — it will open in Preview by default. In the menu bar, go to File > Export as PDF… Save each photo as a PDF (e.g., Page1.pdf, Page2.pdf, etc.). Do this for all your photos.  Combine All PDFs into One Locate and select all of the image files you want to combine.  Control-click (or right-click) on one of the selected image files.  From the context menu that appears, hover your mouse over Quick Actions, and then select Create PDF.  A new PDF file will be created in the same folder, named after the first image you selected, and containing all the photos in the order you selected them. Change the name of your PDF to match the assignment you are submitting.   PC/Windows Users Take Pictures with the Camera App Open the Camera app (search for “Camera” in the Start menu). Hold your handwritten page up to the webcam so it fills most of the screen. Click the camera button (or press the spacebar) to take a picture. Repeat for each page. Your photos are saved in the Pictures > Camera Roll folder by default.  Print Each Picture as a PDF Open the folder where your pictures are saved. Right-click a photo and choose Print. In the Printer dropdown, select Microsoft Print to PDF. Set the paper size and layout (Portrait usually works best for pages). Click Print, then choose a location and filename (e.g., Page1.pdf). Repeat this process for each page photo. Merge Multiple PDFs into One Select all your saved PDFs (Page1.pdf, Page2.pdf, etc.). Right-click and choose Print. Again, select Microsoft Print to PDF as the printer. Save the new merged  PDF to match the assignment you are submitting.
