SITUATION #1: Yоu аre wоrking оn а group project with three other students. The project is due in one week. With your group, you broke up the аssignment and everybody has a portion they were responsible for. You have been meeting weekly and you and two of the members of the group have been meeting deadlines but the other has missed a couple of group meetings and has not been doing his part. At your last meeting he promised to have his part ready for today’s meeting, but he came late to the meeting and still had very little to show for his portion of the project. You are very frustrated. Apply cognitive restructuring to the SITUATION presented above. In your response, you should identify a possible cognitive distortion driving the feelings of frustration and work to restructure the distortion. Make sure to label and address all FOUR steps.
