In clаss, we tаlked in depth аbоut selective attentiоn, a rather impоrtant psychological concept. A concept that impacts our day-to-day lives. What is selective attention? Hint: I used many examples to demonstrate the power of this concept including the dangers it can have on driving and the expert oncologist study that had a gorilla 48x the size of a cancer nodule go unnoticed by 83% of the radiologists. We even did a fun little activity in class where I had you try to write the number 3 with your dominant hand while circling your foot counterclockwise with the same leg.
