We reаd Hоwe et аl’s 2018 review оn mоdel orgаnisms and Atanasov et al’s 2021 review on natural products, and had a class discussion based on them. Make a claim about the importance of learning physiology of plants and animals (and fungi and protists), and use at least one piece of evidence from each paper and our discussion to support your claim. This question is different from the previous ones, in that it’s asking you to make an argument rather than just analyze or explain facts. The evidence must be correct (aka you’ll lose points if they’re incorrect), but the main task here is on how logically you use the evidence to make your argument. Also, I will not judge your claim, only assess the logic and evidence. (For example, you don’t have to say it’s important to learn their physiology, and you don’t have to say it’s important for benefiting humans.) Feel free to make it personal and use the first person point of view (aka write “I think”). I’m aware you don’t have time to write a full-on essay and will grade accordingly.
