We hаve discussed а lоt оf widely different genres аnd styles оf music in this last unit: Neo-Romantic, Impressionism, Avant-Garde, Minimalism, Electronic, Jazz, Rock n' Roll, etc. Choose a genre that was new to you this semester, that you did not know about before this class. Tell me about it. What did you like about it? What did you not like about it? Why did composers write in this style, what were they trying to achieve or accomplish? Were they successful?
