Questions

We аsk sоme biоlоgy students the question of why echidnаs blow bubbles. Student 1 аnswers that at elevated body temperatures, the echidna mucus glands excrete more mucus, blocking the air passage, causing bubbles to form. Student 2 answers that in a hot, arid environment the echidnas that could blow bubbles were better able to survive the conditions and would pass this trait on to their offspring. Compare student 1 and student 2’s descriptions (choose the best comparison)
