The POLS 5335 State Institutions Final Exam will be proctored using Honorlock. Exam StructureDuring the exam period, each student will complete two essays. When the final exam is available, the link to it will be in the Module Four folder on the Content page of the class Blackboard site. From the time they begin the assessment, students will be permitted a total of two hours and thirty minutes (150 minutes) to complete both essays. This total time limit allows for 150 minutes to complete the exam; there is not a separate time limit specific to either essay. Exam-takers are not permitted to leave the room when the exam is open on their computers. The exam will include a list of situations and discussion points. Students cannot use a discussion point or a situation in more than one essay. To complete the first essay of the exam, you will need to choose a situation and a discussion point to address in your response. You will also be required to note which situation and which discussion point you have used in your response. A heading such as “Situation One, Discussion Point Two” will assure compliance with this rule. You will be required to complete the second essay of the exam in the same manner and label the situation and discussion point used in that response as well.
