Cаse Summаry | Pulmоnаry Rоbert M. is a 70-year-оld male with advanced COPD and a 50 pack-year smoking history who continues to smoke. He has done well on Advair® 250/50 over the past year. He recently had a respiratory tract infection that exacerbated his COPD and was seen in urgent care. He completed his antibiotic course and is currently on oral corticosteroids, home oxygen, and Combivent®. He is also on atenolol for hypertension and atorvastatin for hyperlipidemia. He speaks in full sentences and does not appear breathless. Patient Robert M., 70-year-old male Primary Diagnosis Advanced COPD with recent infectious exacerbation Tobacco History 50 pack-years; continues to smoke Current Medications Advair® 250/50 BID (long-standing), oral corticosteroid (short course), home oxygen, Combivent® (ipratropium/albuterol), atenolol (HTN), atorvastatin (HLD) Vital Signs BP 140/80; HR 90; RR 20; T 37 °C; SpO₂ 96% Exam Speaking in full sentences; not breathless.
