The Best Fried Chicken (TBFC) is а cоmpаny with numerоus restаurants thrоughout the U.S. TBFC heavily advertises that its chicken is superior due to its blend of 30+ secret herbs and spices. Many have tried to duplicate the recipe and burglars have been caught trying to steal it. Trent is an intern with TBFC. During a meeting with the president, the president leaves and Trent is alone in the room for about 5 minutes. On the president's desk is a box with a lock and key that is open. Trent sees in the box an envelope labeled "THE RECIPE." He cannot help himself and opens the envelope which in fact has a list of the herbs and spices and their measurements. Trent snaps a picture of the recipe with his phone and returns it to its envelope. After work, Trent contacts several competitors and finds one willing to pay him for the recipe. If Trent follows through to sell the recipe, who, if anyone, would be liable for misappropriation?
