The mаjоrity оf prоgesterone in femаles is releаsed by [gland1]. Progesterone levels are the highest in females during the [stage1] phase of the menstrual cycle. The majority of estrogen in females is released by the [gland2], more specifically the [cell1] cells respond to [hormone1] by releasing estrogen and the [cell2] cells respond to [hormone2] by releasing an estrogen precursor called androstenedione which is later converted into estrogen. This hormone: [hormone3] gets its name by causing the mature follicle to rupture during ovulation and become the corpus luteum. This hormone: [hormone4] gets its name because its main job is to stimulate the follicle to grow. Finally this hormone's [hormone5] main role is to stop the hypothalamus from releasing its hormone and the Pituitary from releasing FSH.
