Lаnguаge mоdels аre an impоrtant part оf speech recognition. In the context of a user-initiated task-specific dialogue, speech recognition is a process of converting a user’s spoken utterance into text which can then be responded to by a generative process. A major challenge is when a speech recognition system cannot figure out which of several words is uttered by the user. This can happen because of noise in the environment, mispronunciation, unrecognized accent, mumbling, slurring, etc. Explain how a non-instruction-tuned language model can be used to improve speech recognition. This question can be answered in a short paragraph of just a few sentences.
