Prоject 7 - Sculpture(7) Cоmpаre аnd cоntrаst two works of sculpture/land art from the art pieces you saw in the lecture or the textbook on chapter 11 (sculpture). Discuss each work on its own and in comparison to the second piece you chose. Reference the artists for each work as well as the title, date, and current location of each piece. What do they have in common? How are they different? In form? in meaning? In a historical context? Use your research on each artwork to expand your discussion. Turn in your one-page outline that includes any details or aspects of each piece that you plan to cover in your paper at the end of class. Attach your source citations and an image of each artwork in the Assignment folder after you finish writing your paper. Paper requirements:2 pages, 11-12 pt. font (Times Roman or Arial, 1.5 line spacing, standard default margins). Your works cited page (MLA or APA) will be included separately (in the Assignment folder)A format to consider: Paragraph #1: Introduce the two works you will be discussing - what are some blanket statements you can make about them? Paragraph #2: Then go into depth about the 1st piece - describe the work (physically and emotionally) and then discuss its content Paragraph #3: Then go into depth about the 2nd piece - describe the work (physically and emotionally) and then discuss its content Final Paragraph: Bring the two works together - they both do this - they both don’t do this - etc. Conclude and wrap up the paper. Consider: Who were the artists, and how did their lives influence their work How did the work’s location influence the work/perception of the work Your own opinions - but don’t use “I” statements, keep your paper in 3rd person.
