They are more likely to have students who struggle or are dealing with serious issues that come with living in poverty. These teachers often earn less than their counterparts who work in wealthier areas.  How could better funding help resolve this issue?

The project will require raw materials of $1.8 million in order to start manufacturing schooners on the first day of the project; it will pay for 30% of this up front and carry the remainder in as accounts payable. Starting in year 1, net working capital required will be 17% of the next year’s revenues. The new schooner is expected to be priced at $1.65 million per schooner, and the initial estimate is that 6 units will be sold in the first year. The company anticipates being able to increase that price by 4% each year, and will increase the number of units sold by: 10% per year in years 2 and 3 (this will lead to partial units…just leave this as is as units will sell across years) 8% per year in years 4 and 5 Variable operating costs are expected to equal 62 percent of sales revenue.  Fixed operating costs are $2,000,000 per year, of which $250,000 is allocated overhead not incremental to the project.
