January arrived and Pam came to visit Paula as planned. On Pam’s first day, the two had lunch, went skiing and then relaxed at Paula’s home in the evening. At approximately 11:00 pm, Pam went to bed in Paula’s guest bedroom. Once in bed, Pam reached over and turned on the control for the electric blanket and immediately sustained an electrical shock.
