However, all supplies, books, materials, etc. that are listed on your supply list should be with you daily. Additional guidelines for Esthetics Technology Supplies: Required skin care kits, make-up kits, supply kits, manikin and textbook must be purchased from in the WCC bookstore. Other supplies needed for class can be purchased elsewhere. A list will be provided by the instructor. Not having your needed supplies will result in your not being prepared for lab/class which in turn will not allow you to be able to learn new procedures. Not being prepared for lab/class will affect your professional work ethics grade and everyday assignments grade. All students will be expected to have books, supplies, kits, scrubs, etc. within one week after the semester starts. Students are expected to have all books, supplies, kits, scrubs, etc. with them daily in lab/class. Consequences for not being prepared are listed below, but not limited to: First day without proper supplies will result in a verbal warning. Second time without proper supplies will result in a written warning and student will be asked to leave class. Student may return with proper supplies but will not be allowed to make up any missed work due to incompliance. Third time without proper supplies will be dismissal from the class for the day without the ability to make up missed work (a zero for the days assignments) and a conference with the Director and/or Associate Dean of Career Tech. Possible withdrawal may result. Points will be deducted from your grade for not being prepared
