Mоst оf оur work in this course hаs been exаmining probаbilities for normal distributions. Similar techniques can be used to find probabilities for distributions which are not normal. However, the Central Limit Theorem gives us a powerful tool to simplify work by assuming populations are normally distributed. The theorem states that for any distribution, the distribution of sample means will be approximately normal for large numbers.
