The patient admits to a decreased appetite as a result of her symptoms lately. Pt has tried taking Ibuprofen several times for this, with some temporary relief. No other attempts at relief were made thus far. Pt denies dark or tarry stools and denies blood in the stool. No preceding trauma or injury reported. She cannot recall any one specific precipitating factor, injury, or event at the time of onset of her symptoms. There is no associated nausea, no vomiting, or pain with swallowing. Pt denies difficulty swallowing foods or choking sensation. No sensation of food getting stuck when swallowing. No recent cough or illness.
