(1) A dentist whо incоrpоrаtes CBCT into their prаctice must hаve specialized training required to interpret all of the data gathered by the scan or they must have someone who is qualified to do so interpret the scan. (2) The AAOMR recommends that CBCT and implant imaging be interpreted only by a board certified oral and maxillofacial radiologist or a dentist with adequate training and/or experience.
