Students whо do not attend lecture miss an opportunity to engage with other students during discussions, participate in activities, or hear from industry experts during guest speaker presentations. These in class activities augment the learning experience and cannot be replicated outside of lecture. For this reason, students must be present during lecture to receive full credit for any in class (individual or group) assignments.
