Current intraoral exam: buccal pericoronal inflammation around partially erupted permanent mandibular left third molar. Patient also has a few broken amalgam restorations and a coated tongue. Current periodontal examination: heavy calculus deposits throughout the mouth with generalized periodontal pocketing, bone loss, and bleeding on probing.
