I think you are right about them.” Enraged, Polly goes to Percy’s gun cabinet and removes one of his shotguns. When she arrives at the office, she walks in the back door. Sally looks up and says “Hi, Mrs. Purebred.” Polly raises the gun and fires both barrels at Sally, killing her (and her unborn child) instantly. Polly then reloads, goes into Percy’s office and shoots him in the face. Percy lingers in a coma for two years, when his brain activity suddenly ceases and he is pronounced dead.
