Cоnsider а temperаture–cоmpоsition diаgram of a binary mixture of two liquids. In this diagram a particular point lies between the vapour composition line and the line representing the boiling temperature of the liquid (the liquid line). On the plot, the (horizontal) distance from the point to the liquid line is 11 mm and that from the point to the vapor line is 19 mm. For the system represented by this point, what is the ratio of the total amount (in moles) in the liquid to the total amount in the vapor?

Twо-three pаges (minimum 500--700 wоrds nоt counting the Work Cited pаge). Write аbout either Oedipus or The Glass Menagerie. Choose ONE of the following: Write an analysis of tragic hero using Aristotle’s definition on p. 1252-1254. The parts are “high-renown and prosperous,” hamartia, and tragic fall. Address and prove each of these ideas in the essay body. This definition will work for Oedipus. You can write an essay analyzing tragic structure using Aristotle’s definition on p. 1253, #5-6. Aristotle says a good tragedy must have the following: peripeteia, anagnorisis, and pathos. Include all three points. You will basically be making an argument for where you think each element takes place. Discuss each element in a body paragraph. Explain how the scene represents the element. Use and cite specific lines from the play to support your ideas. Peripeteia is a sudden reversal of fortune. When does the character’s fortune change from good to bad? Anagnorisis is recognition, a moment in a play or other work when a character recognizes his or her mistake. That is the aha moment when Oedipus puts it all together. Pathos is the scene of suffering, when the character is at the low point. Write an essay analyzing tragic hero using Arthur Miller’s definition as someone of low birth (a common person) with an unrealistic self image. In other words, his or her self-image is delusional when compared to the reality of his or her life. Anyone in The Glass Menagerie could fit this definition. Regardless, the essay must address each part of Miller's definition: common person, image of self, and reality of who he or she is. Consider rereading the Tragic Hero document. When citing a play in MLA style, use act, scene, and line numbers in parentheses. Since Oedipus the King gives continuous line numbers, just cite the line numbers. The Glass Menagerie can be cited using scene and line numbers. See the examples in the “Writing About Literature” chapter and "How to Cite a Play in MLA." The assignment is Honorlock-Proctored and completed in a single session.
