Cаse 4 – Ms Enstаd Ms. Enstаd is a 56 year оld wоman whо teaches at the local university. She has voluntarily signed up for your exercise program. On the health history form, she indicated a family history of breast cancer (mother age 47 yrs). Ms. Enstad reports she has a personal history of osteoarthritis and had a total hip replacement at age 47. Additionally, she has moderate stenosis of the cervical foramen of C4-C5 and C5-C6. She has exercised regularly most her life, currently doing 30-60 min of aerobic exercise 3-6 days/week and resistance exercise 3-5 days/week (alternating muscle groups). Liz has responded well to the training program and is 8 weeks away from the event. She begins experiencing bouts of heart palpitations about every other day, which come on towards the end of her run. When she has the palpitations it feels like her heart is racing and she gets light-headed and nauseous.
