The words that you were able to recall correctly but with challenge will be easier to remember next time. This is the feeling you want to "aim for" when studying. When you are cramming (which is essentially what you were doing with this word list), a LOT of the information will be easily to recall because you JUST saw it. You probably had more words listed in the "easy to recall" section. When studying, if it becomes very easy to recall information, this is actually a sign that you may want to study something else for a while before returning to the original information (make it more challenging to recall). Early on, this "break" from the information does not need to be very long to make it challenging. As you recall the information better and better, the "break" can be a bit longer. Of course, you also want the information to be easy to recall on the exam, so even if you space your studying, you may still want to do a refresher soon before the exam!
