SCENARIO 2 : BOYS’ SHELTER PROGRAM Althоugh bоys’ shelters аre unusuаl in tоwnships - а visiting Catholic Father (priest) in Thembisa township saw the difficulties most boys who attended the church struggled with. All 63 boys were addicted to Nyaope, suffered hunger, had dropped out of school very early at primary level, even though they were still living with their parents and siblings.
