For this essay, you’ll make an argument for a change in MCCC practice as it relates to its role in the community. In other words, what should MCCC start, stop, or do differently in order to be a better a community member?  To earn “Standards Met” (1)  on this Planned Draft, you must:  include your own, original, and clearly stated thesis that makes an argument that responds directly to the prompt  in your introduction paragraphwrite a minimum of 1,500 words (approximately six pages not including your heading or Works Cited page) and a maximum of 1,700 (approximately seven pages); Note: I strongly suggest that you aim to write more than 1,500 words. *You can approximate word count by counting the number of words in a line and then multiplying that by the number of lines. For example, if I have 11 words in a line and I have 10 lines, then I have approximately 110 words.  (11X10=110).
