This bill declared that indgenous people were no longer considered members of “sovereign nations” and that the U.S. Government could not establish treaties with them.  Basically, it put an end to the federal government making treaties with individual Native American tribes.

Doctrine of Double Effect is used to distinguish  passive from active euthanasia. For instance, you can use the Doctrine of Double Effect to demonstrate that a terminally ill patient that dies from complications from morphine was not “actively” euthanized.  

In actuality these were lower paid hands but were transformed by fictional novels and wild west shows.  They were representative of the “natural” man.

Withholding extraordinary means is a form of active euthanasia. It is illegal in NYS.

MOLST refers to the right of  a family member (proxy) to speak for their patient in situations where the family member cannot voice thierown opinion and value.
