When taking exams, I will supply my own non-graphing, non-programmable calculator. I will use the normal table and t-tables provided in Canvas (pertains to Exams 2, 3, and and the final) instead of using a graphing calculator or an internet calculator. I know that I may also use the formula sheet provided in Canvas, but I may not add equations, words, symbols, etc. to this sheet. I will not have a cell phone, tablet, iPod, smart watch, etc. near me while testing. I will not attempt to access any webpages for help, nor contact any individual who may be able to help me. I will not allow anyone else to take the test for me, and I will not communicate about test questions with other students until after the due date has passed. I will have academic integrity.

Upon submission of each exam, I am aware that my grade may change. My instructor will review my work and make initial adjustments. Once the exam becomes reviewable to me, I will go over my exam and email my instructor if I believe I deserved additional partial credit or full credit on a problem that was counted as incorrect. My instructor will review the question(s) from my email and how the computer graded my work. It is ultimately up to the instructor if additional credit is awarded.

I know that exams are intended to be proctored through SmarterProctoring. I will make sure I leave an extra 15 minutes to get set up in the SmarterProctoring system. I will not enter the test until I am actually ready to begin it. If I enter the test early, I must complete it at that moment. If I am uncomfortable with SmarterProctoring, I will plan on coming to campus to take my exams at the campus testing center. I will make my appointments at the campus testing center at least one week prior to taking the test.

After the due date for each quiz, I will review my work and look at the feedback for questions that I answered incorrectly or guessed and just happened to get correct. If I do not understand why my method was wrong, I will contact my instructor or SI and ask for an explanation.

Concerning Late Items (not including quizzes or tests): 1.) If I forget to finish a WebAssign assignment and it is now past the due date, I can request an extension within a week of the due date. I am also aware, that I will lose 50% of the points earned after the due date for late homework. 2.) If my group does not submit an Excel Project and it is now past the due date, I know that it can be submitted it up to one week late with a 5 point penalty. The late penalty for each project is described on the grading rubric. 3.) If I do not submit a peer evaluation by the due date, my grade will automatically be a 0. There are additional points built into the course which can help offset this type of mistake. 4.) If I do not submit a discussion board post and it is now past the due date, it will be up to my instructor if I may post late and for how much credit. I am aware that posting late may mean that I won’t be able to participate in the rest of the discussion.

I have reliable access to the internet, Word, Excel, Zoom, and the software necessary to view video lectures and PDFs. If I do not have all of these in place as I take this quiz, I promise that I will immediately take care of the technology downloads upon submission of this quiz.

I am aware that there are discussion board posts as part of the course, and others as extra credit. The majority of them have follow-up posts too. I understand that if I do not post initially, it becomes a challenge for my classmates to do follow-up posts. When I am posting on discussion boards, I will post comments in a supportive learning-friendly manner. I will avoid harsh criticisms, and I will honor the thought process of my peers.

I am aware that I can gain access to WebAssign through Cengage Unlimited AutoAccess. I will set up my account and view the first assignment by the middle of the first week of the semester. Additionally, I will not ask my instructor to remove the late penalty on homework if it is my fault for obtaining the required course materials too late.
