A woman developed DeQuervain’s tenosynovitis during pregnancy as a result of pregnancy induced edema in the 1st extensor compartment.  The symptoms continued after the birth secondary to intense hand use typical of caring for a baby. She has pain and limited functional grip when handling her baby and strapping him in his car seat. As the baby gets heavier and requires more handling her symptoms are worsening. Which is the best intervention option?
