Initial Assessment Data: Vital Signs: Blood Pressure: 138/86 mmHg Heart Rate: 104 bpm Respiratory Rate: 20 breaths/min Temperature: 38.2°C (100.8°F) Oxygen Saturation: 95% on room air Physical Examination: Cardiac: Friction rub noted over the left lower sternal border, heart sounds regular. Respiratory: Clear to auscultation bilaterally. Pain: Sharp pain increased with deep inspiration, decreases when patient sits up and leans forward. GI: Soft, non-distended, normoactive bowel sounds. Diagnostic Data: Electrocardiogram (ECG): Diffuse ST elevation in multiple leads, PR segment depression noted.
