What would happen if you placed an animal cell with a sodium chloride concentration of 0.3 M into a solution with a 0.1 M sodium chloride concentration.  Assume the plasma membrane is impermeable to sodium chloride.  Sodium chloride will enter the cell. Sodium chloride will leave the cell. Water will enter the cell. Water will leave the cell.  The cell will lyse. The cell will plasmolyse. The cell will become turgid. The cell will crenate.
