The Program may exempt a student from having to take a required course based on the student’s prior successful completion of a course that is similar in content and academic level to the required Program course.  To request an exemption from a required course:   A) All requests to be exempt from a required Program course must be made in writing by submitting an Undergraduate Academic Policy Petition form B) Supporting documentation must include a course syllabus for the course that was completed and a catalog description of the course that was completed C) Supporting documentation must include a written statement in which the student discusses how the course objectives, assignments and learning outcomes from the required Program course align with / are similar to those for the course they have completed
