Put the following into the correct order of the lifecycle of a Bryophyte: Spores develop into protonemata-green, branched, once cell thick filaments The haploid protonemata produce buds that grow into a gametophyte—made up of protonema and a gametophore(gamete bearer) A sperm swims through a film of moisture to an archegonium and fertilizes the egg Meiosis occurs and haploid spores develop in the sporgangium The diploid zygote develops into sporophyte embryo within the archegonium. Sporophyte consists of a foot, a seta, and a sporangium/capsule. Attached by its foot, the sporophyte remains nutritionally dependent on the gametophyte. The sporophyte grows a long stalk (seta) that emerges from the archegonium. Most bryophytes has separate male and female gametophytes, with antheridia and archegonia respectively
