In class, we explored different aspects of sexual and asexual reproduction using two modeling exercises. One of the models examined genetic representation, and you filled out the table below. Each sexually-reproducing individual produces one daughter and one son, and each asexually-reproducing female produces two daughters. You were asked to calculate the number of descendants by counting both male and female offspring, starting with 2 individuals in generation 1. You were also asked to calculate the genetic relatedness (r) and the total genetic representation at each generation. Below is a partially completed table.
