Internet History Sourcebook- Rome 1. Select three Primary Sources from the Roman period from the Internet History Sourcebook. A primary source is a first-hand or original account of an event or topic. Primary sources are the most direct evidence of a time or event because they were created by people that were there when it happened. These sources must be written documents. They can be: Letters or diaries Government or religious documents Speeches Personal narratives or memoirs 2. Annotations: For each source, answer the following questions: What is the title and date of the document? Who is the author? List three important points contained in the document and what information it provides about the event/time period. 3. Citations: Use proper full citation formats for all sources referenced in your assignment. Submissions without correct citations will not be graded.
