The Executive Furniture Company manufactures office desks at three locations: Cleveland, Dallas, and Evansville. The firm distributes the desks through regional warehouses located in Boston, and LA. Estimates of the monthly supplies available at each factory and the monthly desk demands at each of the two warehouses are shown in the below figure. The firm has found that production costs per desk are identical at each factory, and hence the only relevant costs are those of shipping from each factory to each warehouse.
