Review this landlord-tenant dispute (apartment complex) Kevin’s view:  Because I posted a complaint on the tenant’s chat board about the lack of safety of the apartment’s fitness center, landlord now refuses to answer any of my calls concerning issues with my apartment.  I believe he is not following the lease, and I am not going to pay rent until these things get done. Landlord’s view:  Kevin thinks he’s the only tenant in the building.  We’re doing everything we are supposed to do, he exaggerates everything, and if he doesn’t pay rent, we will take steps to evict him, and seek penalty damages.  Take Kevin and Landlord’s viewpoint, and write an interest statement (that addresses the concerns of each), and then, considering both parties, and create a topic (how can we accomplish this is a mutual way).
