As аn Audience Member (viewing the plаy prоductiоn)- Cоnventionаlly speaking; how does a Medieval production, such as Noah and His Sons differ from Greek Drama (such as Oedipus Rex, Antigone, or Medea)? I ask that you not use the example that Noah and His Sons deals with the Bible and God; and the Greeks did not deal with the Bible but with Greek gods (you will not receive credit for that answer or a similarly worded answer). We are not looking for the subject matter of the plays. We are looking at the differences in the Theatrical experience for the audiences. Get specific.   You are to discuss the elements/conventions of the Medieval production vs. the conventions of the Greeks' productions, such as: the Actors in the production the Language used the Proximity of the actors to the audience Staging practices Formality of Production Formality of Language and any other aspects you choose to utilize Please note: The more specific examples you compare/contrast, the more points you will be awarded; the more general- the fewer the points awarded.
