For example, you could argue psychological egoism is probably false because it a) is unfalsifiable, b) lists possible motives without proving them true, and c) plays on ambiguities.  Grading Criteria  Clarity and Organization (30%): The essay is well-structured with clear, logically organized paragraphs. Each paragraph focuses on one main idea and contributes to the overall argument. Both the Introduction and Conclusion paragraphs are included. The Introduction presents a clear thesis statement and previews/organizes the paper well.   Content (70%): The student demonstrates an accurate or insightful understanding of the content and answers all parts of the prompt. The analysis is free from logical fallacies, offering a compelling and well-reasoned discussion of the topic.  Length: 750-1000 words  *A more detailed list of the grading criteria is in the syllabus.
