During the exam, you will draw 25 questions from a larger pool of questions that combine easy, medium, and more challenging questions, including T/F, multiple-choice, and short-answer questions. Once you start the exam, you must complete it within the specified timeframe. You may not exit and restart the exam later. Remember to select the best answer for each question. A few comments about the use of Honorlock: You may not have a phone, a second screen, a tablet, or any paper on your desk surface, or near where you're working. This means NO MOBILE PHONES may be used at any time. NO SECONDARY DEVICES MAY BE USED, VISIBLE, or ACCESSIBLE at any time during the exam. If Honorlock or exam proctors reviewing your exam detect handoffs to a mobile device, see or observe a mobile or secondary device at any time, you will receive no credit for the exam. No one else may be in the room with you at any time unless you have an SLDS accommodation for someone to read the questions. If someone is in the room with you for any reason, you will receive no credit for the exam. The browser will be locked down. You may only have the exam tab open during the exam, and a second browser tab for the textbook link. You should close all other applications, tabs, and browser windows. Anything beyond this will be flagged as an Honorlock violation. No copy-and-paste operations are allowed. You may not copy, screen print, or otherwise attempt to capture questions on this exam. Stopping and restarting the exam is not allowed, nor is leaving the room and returning. If your SLDS accommodation requires frequent breaks during your exam, please see me so we can make specific arrangements to accommodate your needs. Additional notes: Assume that all in-person rules apply when taking an exam. You're required to keep your camera on and keep your face clearly visible throughout the exam. Obscuring your face so the software can't track your eye movements is not allowed. You must keep your microphone enabled. All of these steps are to ensure that academic integrity is maintained and the results of the exams are tied to your knowledge gained in this course. Human proctors will review possible Honorlock violations. If found to constitute possible academic misconduct, it will be reported to COAM for review and an administrative hearing. Good luck!
