The research took place at: Riverside Community College Fall Term 2025 84 participants: 28 students from East and Southeast Asia / 22 from South Asia / 16 from Latin America / 10 from Europe / 8 from Africa and the Middle East 38 students aged 18–24 / 29 students aged 25–34 / 17 students aged 35 or older International students enrolled in certificate, diploma, and associate-degree programs Students with different academic, linguistic, and educational backgrounds Convenience sampling was used.
