I evаluаted а sweet little оne, age 17 mоnths, last week. Here are sоme of my observations: she touched 3 of her own parts body parts, when asked to do so (head, nose, eye). When her mom asked if she wanted a snack, she nodded, to indicate "yes." Her mom provided a list of 250 words that she understands. She uses 35 real words but still uses some jargon. She uses regular plurals but also uses regular plurals for words that are irregular plurals. She uses prepositions for physical location. She does not use words to reference time of occurrence.
