This is nоted in the syllаbus, but just tо be very cleаr I'm shаring it here, again. The fоllowing will result in an automatic zero on the exam: incomplete room scan other people in the room with you taking the exam in bed poor lighting that hides your face or makes the room not clearly visible being asked to turn off and/or remove your phone after the exam has begun a proctor has to tell you to turn off any device during the exam using any additional device other monitors are on other monitors (even if turned off) are within your reach you switch tabs or apps during the exam you do not clear off the work surface entirely of all books, papers, etc. you are wearing anything on your arms or wrists you are wearing headphones or earbuds (or the equivalent) you are wearing a hat or anything that obscures your face you curse or make obscene gestures you verbally abuse the proctor or me during the exam you leave at any point in the exam your body language clearly reveals that someone is helping you write your essay (let me give you an example: let's say you spend about thirty minutes typing, and then you look up and your eyes obviously follow something moving into your view behind your external camera--say, a person with another screen perhaps?--and then, from that point forward, you look up in that direction many times a minute for the rest of the exam, and then replace what you wrote before that with new writing.) And, as always, this list is not exhaustive. I certainly reserve the right to give you a zero for anything that is a violation of the rules of the exam, even if it's something I can't dream up or that I haven't already encountered. The bottom line is this: just do your own work and you'll be fine. But understand that I do review each video.
