Just hold up to the web cam each page of notes you plan to use with a steady hand, so the camera/proctor can clearly capture what’s on each page of notes. (you should be able to see what the camera can see in the recording)Yes, your Quiz timer will have already started at this point. But—I added an extra 5 minutes for this very reason (I give you 30 minutes to answer 25 questions). It should take only a minute to hold up each page of notes for the camera to clearly capture what’s on each page before you start answering your Quiz questions. Please Note: DO NOT STOP SHARING YOUR SCREEN until Honorlock prompts you to! Screen sharing will stop when Honorlock detects that your Quiz has successfully been submitted. If you stop sharing your screen too soon, you will be flagged by the proctoring system.Important Reminders:--2 Quiz Attempts, but only the FIRST Attempt Grade will be Counted:All quizzes have been set to allow students 2 attempts at submission within Blackboard. This is done to allow for students who might run into "technical difficulties" in the submission process. If something happens during their first attempt, they can simply go back and re-submit using their 2nd attempt.Students will then be expected to follow the “Tech Issues” procedure outlined in the syllabus/CLASS SUPPORT MODULE. This opportunity is NOT designed for students to get a better quiz grade on a second attempt. (See syllabus for more info)--Students are NOT PERMITTED to use Artificial Intelligence, ChatGPT, any type of AI web browser extension or overlay, or the like to “help” them complete the quizzes.--For Academic Integrity purposes, Quizzes cannot be re-opened/taken/made-up after the quiz has closed for the class and the due-date has passed. (See syllabus for more info)--Students who experience "technical difficulties" (wi-fi issues, computer crashes, incompatible devices etc.....) will still be subject to loss of a grade. (See syllabus for more info)
