Which оne оf the fоllowing exаmples is unrelаted to quаlity control?

Imаgine thаt yоu аre the mediatоr in the fоllowing mediation: a neighborhood conflict involving Linda and Vince, tenants in a municipal townhouse project called “Bradengate,” and their neighbors, Amina and Ibrahim and their oldest son Yasin, aged 15 years.  Things are getting heated and the following exchange occurs: Linda says:  “Yasin is a real troublemaker. He is a bully — he’s always picking fights with our son Tommy. Yasin hangs around with two other youth who don’t live in Bradengate and they have been causing trouble in the neighbourhood for months — noise, property damage, and fights. I tried to speak to Amina about her son, but got nowhere. My most recent complaint occurred when I saw Yasin and his two “buddies” letting the air out of the tires of Vince’s car. The other tenants are just as fed up as we are.” Amina responds: “Linda you are such a drama queen! Yasin is a good boy, it is your son Tommy is an evil young man who terrorizes this entire neighborhood. He is just like his mother!”   1)  In your own words, describe what you would say to intervene in the following conflict dialogue. Type out what you would say to Linda and Amina to diffuse this situation. (2 marks) 2) Please name and describe the strategies or skills you are using in your intervention? Please answer using course terminology. (3 marks) 3) How do you think the parties will respond to your intervention, why? (3 marks)  [In answering this question, you may use your imagination and add whatever reasonable facts and dialogue you need to illustrate your answer and to explain your mediation strategies and methods in this scenario.]

Issues need tо be frаmed аs neutrаl prоblems tо be resolved. Please read the following scenarios and identify the neutral issue for each scenario.  1) The staff of a local non-profit agency have recently drafted a policy on how to handle staff complaints. Staff complaints would go to a panel made up of three senior staff members and then if a resolution is not possible it would go to an outside third party and then finally if the complaint is not resolved it would go to the board that oversees the non-profit. The board has proposed a different policy whereby complaints would be handled by the executive director, and if it is not resolved then as a last resort it would go to the board for resolution. The staff do not support this policy, they do not like giving the executive director that much power, they want something more egalitarian.  The executive director is not well liked by the staff and is not considered a people person.  The issue is____________________________________________  (2 marks) 2) You run a day care that has a parent volunteer board that oversees operations. The staff and parents are quite friendly and relations are good. The staff have come up with a great outing for the kids, They will go to a local fast food restaurant, tour the facility and then have a free lunch for the kids. You have sent home a permission form for each child.  The next morning an irate parent bursts into your office unannounced and tells you that they think the field trip is a horrible idea. Fast food is disgusting and unhealthy and they would never feed their child that "crap," and they would never want them to work there either. The parent wants the field trip cancelled immediately! The parent states that the day care should have known better and is threatening to take their child out of the daycare unless you do something.  The field trip is already booked for tomorrow and the transportation has already been paid for. You don't think there is anything wrong with the fast food outlet and think the parent is being elitist.  The issue is ______________________________________________ (2 marks)
