Whаt is the purpоse оf аntiоxidаnts?
Scenаriо 2 Eаch summer, the tоwn оf Kholm hosts а baking festival where participants work in teams to create themed desserts for a panel of judges and a large audience. The competition, sponsored by a local fruit company, lasts five rounds, with the winners receiving $5,000. Two of the participants are Akari, an African American 25-year-old amateur baker who works as a graphic designer, and Liam, a nonbinary 17-year-old high school student who dreams of becoming a professional pastry chef. Akari and Liam approach the competition very differently. Akari prefers carefully planning each step and following recipes she already knows well, while Liam enjoys experimenting with unusual ingredients and taking creative risks. During team challenges, their different styles sometimes lead to disagreements, especially when time is running short and the crowd is watching. Just before the final round begins, contestants gather near the judging tables while the judges casually discuss past competitions and the kinds of bakers who have traditionally done well. For the final challenge, both Akari and Liam create desserts featuring fruit, even though that choice is unusual for each of their typical styles. When the judges announce the results, the audience is impressed by the creativity and quality of both desserts, and many spectators comment on how contestants’ unique approaches challenge the usual standards of the festival.
